Dr Stefaan Bouchez is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Ghent University Hospital in Belgium.He completed his anesthesia residency and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at the Catholic University of Leuven and the OLV Clinic of Aalst. He joined the Ghent University anesthesia department in 2001. His areas of clinical expertise include adult and pediatric cardiac anesthesia, perioperative echocardiography (including 3D-echocardiography), pulmonary hypertension and left ventricular assist devices.”
