Dr Sébastien Bloc is an anesthetist working in a private hospital in the south of Paris (Claude Galien Private Hospital - Quincy Sous Senart – France). Also as a consultant at the University Hospital Henri Mondor (Paris) he is involved in the training of residents but moreover he developed and is in charge of the Postgraduate Diploma in Regional Anesthesia in Paris dedicated for residents, fellows and practitioners. Other duties involve being an active member of the European Society of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Therapy (ESRA) and the French Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR) and also being a regular speaker and workshop instructor at national and international conferences. In 2014 he published a textbook on Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia.
