Clara Alexandra Lobo studied Medicine in Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS), Oporto University – Portugal. She is affiliated with the Anesthesiology Department of HFAR/PP, Porto. For several years was responsible for the Anesthesiology Residency Training Program in one of the institutions where she had worked previously. She is also a faculty member of the Human Anatomy Department of ICBAS, Oporto University, President of Clube de Anestesia Regional – CAR, a Portuguese Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and representing Portugal at the ESRA Council of Representatives, lecturing, teaching and reviewing papers for publication in CAR's Journal and website (www.anestesiaregional.com). Her areas of academic interest are Regional Anesthesia, Orthopedic Anesthesia, Pain Medicine, Pediatric and Obstetric Anesthesia. Enjoy books, music and travelling.HFAR/PP
